Disney collaborates with designers, artists in new headpiece Collection

Disney Parks has collaborated with some of the world’s renowned designers and artists to design limited edition mouse ears in honor of the most famous mouse duo, Mickey and Minnie.

The designer collection showcases mouse ears designed by some of the fashion industry’s most prominent figures like Betsey Johnson, Vera Wang, and Heidi Klum and will feature the iconic elements of the chosen A-listers.

Heidi Klum expressed her excitement with the collection, saying that it’s almost like a dream come true for her as she really enjoys wearing Mickey’s ears.

Vera Wang, a self-confessed all-time Disney fan, feels ecstatic and privileged to partner with a brand whom she says has brought her much happiness and inspiration. The Disney x Vera Wang wedding veil features the brand’s symbolic mouse ears and a veil made from the same tulle and silk fabrics that Vera Wang uses in wedding gowns. It is embellished with hand-sewn crystals and embroidered pearls. Vera Wang tells brides and collectors that the signature headpiece is a special item to be treasured and collected given its authenticity and own beauty.

The Disney Parks x Betsey Johnson mickey ears are bedazzled with pink sequins and hot pink tulle, while the collaboration with luxury brand Coach features a floral-inspired mouse ears headpiece made from genuinely crafted leather.

The headpieces will be sold for about $58 to $600 and can be purchased at Disneyland Resorts located in California and Florida.

They can also be purchased from Disney’s official online shopping website, ShopDisney.com. The first Disney Parks Designer Collection collaboration was with the Harveys and was launched on May 24. Disney will be releasing other designs on a monthly basis and will be announcing a new set of commissioned designers and celebrities in the coming weeks.
